The Australian Outback Marathon is a race enjoyed by runners of all levels. Other race options include a half marathon and 11K and 6K races.

Australian Outback Marathon Route
The race is out-and-back, starting and finishing near Ayers Rock (Uluru). It has stunning views of the Australian outback, including the ever-memorable Olgas.

The course consists of hard-packed earth fire trails, soft sand, graded but unsealed roads and a small amount of sealed asphalt road. Weather in preceeding months will strongly affect the running surface, being more compacted if there has been more rain.
