EAS SEGAS Eastern Macedonia – Thrace in collaboration with the Association of Marathon Runners of Serres, announces and organizes a Half Marathon, with the name “2nd KRI KRI SUPER SPOON Half Marathon of Serres” with the following terms:

Route Kroniou Square – D. Solomou – M. Alexandrou – Agia Sofia – D. Marouli – Agios Ioannis – Eptamyloi – Kri kri – Sklavenitis – Sidewalk of the National Road Serres – Drama – Neo Souli – Left in the church of Agia Marios Ioannis – D. Marouli – Rest to the iron bridge at the height of the cafe Valeria – Exochon – Agia Sofia – M. Alexandrou – Kroniou Square. The highest point of the route is 157m. at the 10th kilometer (N. Souli) and the minimum 46m. at the start-finish.
A) VOLTA RUN (BEKIAREIOS ROAD)

Route: Kroniou Square – D. Solomou – M. Alexandrou – Exochon – Reversal to the summer cinema and return.
B) PRIMARY SCHOOLS
DISTANCE 500 M

STARTING POINT: KRONI SQUARE
FINISH: KRONI SQUARE
3. PARTICIPATION RIGHT:
Eligible to participate in the half marathon are athletes who are registered in member clubs of SEGAS and independent athletes who have reached the age of 18 (those born in 2004 and older).
Those born in 2006 and older, club athletes and independents, have the right to participate in the 5000m race.
In case of participation of students under 15 years old they must be accompanied by a parent.
Children born in the years 2011-2012-2013 have the right to participate in the 500M race. Younger children can also participate, provided they are accompanied by a parent-guardian throughout the journey.
The application form is submitted by the person exercising parental care and custody of a parent.
The receipt of the participation number is mandatory in the presence of a parent / guardian.
4. APPLICATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION:
They will be made at the email address www. marathonserres.gr from 01/07/2022.
The submission of the declaration of all the races will be done exclusively in the attached registration form that has been posted on the site of the Serres Marathon Runners.
The registration limit is as follows: For the half marathon 300 runners, for the 5000m. registration limit 500 runners and for the 500m. Primary Schools for 300 children.
The participants-runners in the event are fully aware and aware of the risks involved in their participation in the event, in terms of possible effects on their health. Each runner participates in the event of their own free will and bears full responsibility for their participation in terms of their physical condition and ability to participate.
Runners must have been examined by a doctor before participating due to the specificity of the race. No medical certificates will be required for any athlete, as all participants compete at their own risk.
EAS SEGAS AN. MACEDONIA – THRAKIS and the Organizing Committee of the match do not bear any responsibility in case of injury, or any other kind of impact that may occur while participating in the event. The runners participate at their own risk, having undergone the necessary medical examinations and having done the necessary cardiac examination before the races.
All three athletes will sign a solemn declaration that they have undergone a medical examination. In the case of a minor, the responsible statement is signed by the parent / guardian and consents to his / her participation in the fight. The athletes of clubs – members of SEGAS will compete by presenting their sports card and health card considered as required by law and in accordance with the 24/12/18 joint ministerial decision of the Minister of Health and the Deputy Minister of Sports.
NO INDEPENDENT RUNNER WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION IF HE HAS NOT COMPLETED THE PARTICIPATION REGISTRATION FORM – RESPONSIBLE DECLARATION (health certification).
Responsible statements will be available at the secretariat of the games.
The first three winners of the half marathon will be awarded prizes. Prizes will be awarded to the first three men and women of the general classification of the half marathon. In addition to the first three men and women each category
1st category 18-30 years old
2nd category 31-40 years old
3rd category 41-50 years old
4th category 51-60 years old
5th category 60 and over
Note: In order for there to be categories, at least 5 runners must finish in each category On the road of 5000m.
Prizes will be awarded to the first three winners-three. A prize will also be given to the oldest runner in the half marathon.
Prize will be given to the most populous team.
Commemorative medal and technical t-shirt to those finish in all categories.
Cash prizes will be awarded in the Half Marathon.

The cash prizes will be given to athletes with a time below 1.20.

The cash prizes will be given to the athletes with a time below 1.40.
7. MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL ITEMS & CLOTHING
No later than 20 ‘before the start, the runners must place the bags, with their clothes and personal belongings in a specially designed space designated by the Organizing Committee.
ATTENTION: The bag must be tightly closed and must not contain money, valuables.
The organizers do not bear any responsibility in case of loss of valuables.
8. HEALTH COVER
The organizers, in collaboration with the Chief Physician, the Emergency Services, the First Aid staff and the Voluntary Search and Rescue Teams, will take all necessary measures for the safety of the participants.
At each checkpoint and on the route there will be Volunteers – Rescuers, who will provide first aid in case of need.
Athletes’ insurance is borne by them.
The races will be conducted in accordance with the regulations of the I.A.A.F. 2020-2021 edition as well as SEGAS (The Half Marathon route is measured and certified by the I.A.A.F from 18/08/2019). The judges and the Hellenic Judicial Committee can at any time cancel athletes in case of non-compliance with the rules, but also delete them from the results after the race by evaluating objections, electronic or visual material.
It is NOT ALLOWED to participate in the race on invalidly registered runners or runners without entry number
1. Each athlete will receive one (1) personal number which should be placed on the front of the racing suit.
The numbers are personal and the number will be used only in the competition for which he has applied.
They are not transferred or given to another person arbitrarily without the prior approval of the Organizing Committee of the race. Participants are required to bring their entry number up to the finish line.
2. Participating runners should be especially careful in their movement in the difficult points of the route and should respect their other athletes, not to interfere with each other in their effort, to allow faster runners to overtake them and generally not to hinder the smooth running of the race.
The supervision – surveillance of the route of the race will be done with special teams of security, search and rescue and provision of medical assistance. Safety staff and judges will be able to indicate to athletes that they should change direction for safety reasons or discontinue the effort if the physician considers that an athlete is at risk. Refusal to comply will mean exclusion from the race.
In case of emergency and after a relevant suggestion of the race doctors, an emergency vehicle will intervene along the route in order to transport the athletes to medical units. In case of injury to an athlete, the staff of the event as well as the Volunteers – Rescuers who cover the route should be notified immediately, by the athletes who will be aware of such an incident.
3. The participants agree and consent to the use of their personal data, as well as to the use of their image for the purposes of the event.
4. The timing of the half marathon and the Volta Run 5km will be done electronically with a registration chip integrated in the participation number.
5. The time limit for finishing the half marathon is 3 hours for the 5000m. there is no end time limit.
6. The route will be marked at all intersections and there will be signs in inaccessible places. For the kilometer information of the athletes there will be indication plates per 1 mm.
7. There will be power stations:
In the half marathon at 4km. water
at 6.5mm. water and isotonic,
at 10ochil. water – isotonic – banana,
in the 12th water, jelly at 15ochil. water and isotonic
in the 19th mm water-isotonic.
It is noted that after each power station at 50m. there will be a trash can. In the 5000m race. there will be a gas station halfway through the water.
8. Facilities: For half marathon runners. Past over 10 people, for Half Marathon 12 € and for 5ari at 6 €. The participation fee must be paid within 5 days to a bank account of the Association. For each participation in the half marathon, one (1) euro will be available at KETHIS (therapeutic riding center of Serres).
9. The awards will be made at 12:00.
10. What is not provided by the Announcement will be regulated by the Technical Manager and the Chief of the race, according to the Regulations.
11. All participants will be awarded a certificate of participation (electronically)
There will be a participation fee for the athletes – three who will compete and is set at 15 euros for the half marathon, 8 euros for the 5000m. and 3 euros for the 500m. of Primary Schools.
Group registrations over 10 people, for Half Marathon 12 € and for 5ari at 6 €.
The participation fee must be paid within 5 days to a bank account of the Association.
For each participation in the half marathon, one (1) euro will be available at KETHIS (therapeutic riding center of Serres).
