13th Ippokrateios Folk Road Race 10 km
Fun Run 3 km

The Association of Marathon Runners of the Prefecture of Larissa, in collaboration with the Region of Thessaly (Regional Unit of Larissa), organizes and announces a folk road race of 10 km and Fun Run 3 km.

The races will be held in the city of Larissa on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

1. Ippokrateios race 10 km

Participation cost: 5 euros

Route description: Asphalt route without special uphill calls. Most of the route will be in the riverbed of the river Pinios for the runners to enjoy the natural beauty of the area while they will pass by monuments of the city. Map

Minors over 16 years of age (born before 2006) can register by sending a responsible parent-guardian statement that allows their child to participate in the race to ippokrateiosrace@gmail.com

Health coverage
There will be full medical support in the race.
In any case, all competitors participate exclusively at their own risk. The organizers have no responsibility for what happened during the race and is due to lack of preventive medical examination by the competitors. Participants are advised to undergo a medical examination before the race. The organizers will not be asked for medical certificates for any athlete as the participants compete at their own risk. Minors fight under the responsibility of their guardians.

Support stations
Along the route there will be 1 runner support station in the middle of the route (5o km). Bottled water will be available at the stop (5th km of the route) as well as at the finish.

Mileage indications
At each kilometer of the route there will be an indication of a kilometer distance.

Distinctions – Prizes
The first 3 athletes of the general classification will be awarded with a cup and a medal and will be excluded from the individual age categories.
Regarding the age categories, the first athletes will be awarded with a cup and a medal and the 2nd and 3rd with medals.

The age categories are as follows:

Requirement for becoming an age category is the participation of at least four athletes.
