Record high of registrations at the 6th ”Olympic Day Run” Greece
The lure is great… Olympians, Paralympians, distinguished athletes, active citizens from every corner of the country will be on the same starting line!
They set an appointment on April 2nd in Thessaloniki, for the 2th “Olympic Day Run Greece”: The ultimate Olympic road race!
The news caused a delirium of excitement in the ranks of the participants. The registrations, which started a few days ago, exceeded all expectations.
A special feeling is for the runners to coexist in a race, which is solely based on the promotion and dissemination of the Olympic Idea. Together they celebrate in the best way the International Olympic Day, which has been established and is running in more than 200 countries by the International Olympic Committee.
Freestyle athletes can enjoy one of the 3 designed and certified routes in the 5th ” Olympic Day Run ” Greece. Specifically, adults can run at 10 km and 5 km, while the 1.5 km are “made” for all ages, with school groups participating for free on this route!
There are, of course, group participation packages for those who wish to promote the concept of teamwork and participation in sports.
”You can do it too…”, is the message that the organizers want to send to the world. All you need to do is put on your shoes and cross the path of Peace and Olympic Values with our Olympians and great athletes.
All runners who finish will be awarded a commemorative medal and a diploma signed by IOC President Thomas Bach, while the winners will receive special prizes.
The 5th ” Olympic Day Run ” Greece is certified by AIMS and is carried out by the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki and International Olympic Center OLYMPia, in collaboration with the Hellenic Olympic Committee, the International Olympic Academy, the Association of Participants in the Olympic Games, the Municipality of Thessaloniki , SEGAS.
