The Municipality of Alonissos announces the Alonissos Challenge 2023 which will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023.

The aim of the event is to attract runners and athletes from all over Greece and abroad, to get to know the beauties of Alonissos, by running or walking on the various routes. And this year the race will maintain the element of multi terain, offering continuous alternations in the beautiful landscapes of the island of Sporades.

The start and finish of all the races are in Patitiri, in the port of Alonissos and the program of the event includes road races 20 km, 10 km and 2 km for children. At 08:00 the start of the 20 km and 10 km race will take place, while at 11:15 will take place the 600m children race.

All runners who finish will be given a commemorative medal. Also, the first three men and the first three women in each race will be awarded and the first three boys and the first three girls in the children race.

The participation cost is 5 € while for the children’s race it is free. The registration period will end on Wednesday, June 8.

The receipt of the participation package from all runners will take place on Saturday 11/06 (17:00 – 20:00) and on Sunday 12/06 from 07:00 from Alonissos Cafe Corali.

The participation package includes:

• The participation number and safety pins
• Timing chip
• Commemorative T-Shirt of the race
• Commemorative medal
