A night race on a unique route by the sea, will be held in Chalkida on Saturday 10 June.

This is the EVRIPOS NIGHT RUN 2023 road event organized by the Sports Organization of the Municipality of Chalkida, the Region of Central Greece, the E.A.S. SEGAS East Sterea and Evia, EOSLMAY, in collaboration with the clubs of classical sports and the Association of Runners of Evia in the Municipality of Chalkida. The runners who will participate in the great night race will have an unforgettable experience as they will travel by the sea enjoying the phenomenon of Euripus over the old bridge of Chalkida and its beaches on the Boeotian and Evian coasts. However, the event has a strong social character and the proceeds will be allocated in proportion to the participation of each sports club with a registered office in the Municipality of Chalkida for the supply of sports or other material.

For the first time, this whole process of registration, volunteering and finances, is done only electronically, through the modern website (www.evriposnightrun.gr.) Created for this purpose by DOAPPEX, where there is all the information about the race, Chalkida, accommodation, sights, etc. We look forward to seeing you in our beautiful city!

The runners will have the opportunity to test their strength in four races: Road Race and Dynamic Health walking of 5.5 km for men-women, race 11 km for Men-Women 11, race 1 km for Gymnasiums and children’s race 1 km for Primary School Schools and the disabled. The start will be given at 20.00 in the evening, creating a unique atmosphere as the races will be held after sunset! The starting point is Giardini Street with the starting point being the REX Summer Cinema on the beach of Chalkida. The entries exceed 1200 runners from 30 Clubs and 20 Teams, while the 90 volunteers will be on foot throughout the event.
