The Association of Runners of Falani, in collaboration with the Municipality of Larissa, the support of the Region of Thessaly (Regional Unit of Larissa), the Association of Volunteer Blood Donors of Falani, the Association of Marathon Runners of Larissa, the Schools of Falani and the local organization Half marathon 21.1 km, Falani Run 5 km and Fun Run 1000 meters.

Participation limit: For the safe conduct of the games it is necessary to have a limit on the number of participants, so be sure to register in time. In the previous races the registrations were closed several days before, with the result that several athletes who had not registered in time did not take part.

Half marathon: 300 runners

5 km: 500 runners and hikers

1 km: 350 children

Receipt of material and participation number: The delivery of participation packages will take place on Saturday 21 May from the offices of the Association at the Cultural Center of Falani from 17:00 to 20:00 and on SUNDAY 22 May in the central square of Falani from 07:00 to 07:00- 08:30.

RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE: Please note that the following terms of participation may change until the start of registration. According to the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the General Secretariat of Sports, the right to participate in the race are:

• Runners who will be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and those with a disease certificate, up to 14 days before the race (no test required).

• runners who for medical reasons can not be vaccinated against covid-19. The impossibility of vaccination will be proved by a medical certificate that they will demonstrate upon receipt of the participation package accompanied by a negative 72-hour PCR test or a 48-hour Rapid test.

• and minor runners (they will not have turned 18 on the day of the race). Upon receipt of the participation package, they must present a document certifying their age accompanied by a negative self-test.

Only those who have completed the 18th year of age can participate in the Half Marathon (21.1km). At 5 km those who have completed the 12th year of their age. Athletes under the age of 18 must have the written consent of their parents.

Timing: The timing will be electronic using the chips that will be given, before the race, along with the entry numbers. In addition to the start and finish there will be several checkpoints to ensure the validity of the results. For the first time the timing will be individual and for the final ranking the net time will be taken into account. this is because the starts will be in blocks with enough time between them. So it is very likely that an athlete who does not finish first in the final standings will be the winner of the race. SEGAS regulations apply to road races. The executives of the organizing committee can at any time cancel athletes in case of non-compliance with the rules, as well as delete them after the race from the results by evaluating objections, electronic and visual material. The results will be updated in real time and whoever finishes will be able to see his time on the event website at the same time. Objections will be accepted until Thursday, October 7, the day when the final results will be posted.

Medical examination: In any case, all competitors participate at their own risk. The organizers have no responsibility for what happens, during the race, on HEALTH issues due to lack of preventive medical examination. Athletes under 18 participate under the responsibility of their parents.

Medical coverage: The medical coverage of the match will be undertaken by volunteer doctors, Red Cross volunteers. There will also be ambulances on the race track.
