The “Epic” Hymettus includes two races of different distances in a clear mountain range for the most part.
The race takes place every year on the 28th of October.
The “Epic” race of 25 km is addressed to experienced mountain racers, as the first half of the race is demanding both for the technical difficulty of the terrain and for the altitude profile (1,200 m in the first 15 km). It also has demanding time limits at two intermediate control points.
The 12-mile Aspire Crazy Race is an opportunity for runners who want to experience the mountain running on a representative terrain, while at the same time it is a tough test for experienced runners who will try to move faster. In the first 5 km the climb is 620m. Downhill is the smallest of its tracks.
