The name of the struggle as “Crocodile” is originally due to the shape of the cape east of Palaeochora and resembles a rocky crocodile swimming. It also has a metaphorical meaning, as the profile of the path has 4 very sharp “teeth”, similar to those of the given animal, and the terrain of the path hides many sharp stones like teeth.
However, fans of mountain fights should not “be afraid” as Paleochora’s “Crocodile” is totally immobile and domesticated and expects the visitors of the area to discover its beauties. We are waiting for you to spend an unforgettable weekend in beautiful Paleochora with a lot of fun, dancing, sports and fun.
All you have to do is to respect the Terms and Conditions of the Race, respecting which guarantees its proper functioning and the safety of the participating athletes.
